Are you up for a challenge? Are you ready to see what God will reveal to you by choosing to spend time in His Word every day? Are you ready for a Summer of Wisdom?

This summer, we are challenging anyone and everyone to spend at least a few minutes reading the Bible every day.  We hope you will join us as we seek wisdom that only God can provide.

The challenge is to read the scheduled passage every day. This means no reading ahead or jamming it all in one day. The goal is not to read everything. The goal is to read every day.

Here's how you can participate:

  • Read the assigned passage each day
  • Pray before and after your reading
  • Ask a few questions in regards to the passage you just read:
    • What did the passage teach you about God's love for you?
    • What did the passage teach you about your love for God?
    • What did the passage teach you about God's love for others through you?
  • Stay accountable by plugging in to the daily conversation by:
    • Joining the group on Reveal's Facebook page
    • Commenting on the daily post on FB or IG
      • Comments can contain: things you learned, things God revealed, a pic of your study time, a pic of your study place, a pic of something God brought to your mind, etc.
      • The point isn't what you post, the point is that you post and stay accountable to the daily reading

Throughout the summer, we will ask you to check-in and see how everyone is doing. Please take the time to do the check-ins. At the end of the summer, all participants who finish the challenge will be given a free t-shirt celebrating your accomplishment.

BTW: Everyone will receive one mulligan each month. Mulligan is a golf term meaning "do over." This means that everyone can miss one day each month, because grace is a good thing - but accountability is also a good thing so we'll try to do both!

Below you will find the full reading plan. You can print it and put it in your Bible or hang it on your fridge or you can simply check out FB or IG every day to see what the scheduled reading is.

Good luck everyone! We can't wait to see what God does through this summer reading challenge.
